Quickstart

Goal

Start your first Keypress session in 5-10 minutes and connect from another device.

Prerequisites

• Keypress installed
• At least one supported agent CLI available locally
• Phone, web browser, or desktop app ready

Steps

1. Start a session (Claude default):

keypress

2. Or start a different mode:

keypress codex
keypress gemini
keypress opencode
keypress copilot

3. Authenticate if prompted.

4. In your Keypress app (mobile/web/desktop), connect to the active session.

5. Send one simple test prompt from the terminal.

6. From your second device, review output and continue the conversation.

7. Press any key in local terminal to take immediate control.
